NorthEastBiz had a very successful Christmas Willow Wednesday, fundraising for 2013’s chosen charity St Oswald’s Hospice. We are delighted to announce that when December’s fundraising is added to the administrative surplus from 2013, the total NorthEastBiz networkers raised in 2013 is £640, which was presented to St Oswald’s Hospice at January’s Willow Wednesday.

Please Note: We have not yet been running a full year in our new format and in 2013 we had the one-off cost of a NorthEastBiz pop up banner. As a not for profit organisation nothing other than the basic administration sundries, event food and venue costs are paid from the money received from attendees. Every attendee (except guest speakers) pays to attend. This means that at the end of each year our modest administrative surplus can be added to the December fundraising total to create a significant donation for the regional charity selected in January of each year.
