The NorthEastBiz BIG Breakfast

NorthEastBiz in conjunction with Barclays Business has been supporting Carers Northumberland for the last two years. To help them participate in the Carers Trust initiative in support of Britain’s 7 million unpaid carers, the next NorthEastBiz networking breakfast in Morpeth on Tuesday, October 11th, will be a special ‘BIG Breakfast’ featuring guest speaker Pete Wilkinson; Author, Ironman and Business Speaker. Pete has won 4 separate speaker awards in the last 2 years.

Cost: £15 per ticket includes hot breakfast and tea/coffee

Pete has managed a large team of 300 people along with having P&L responsibility for a £30m business. Pete has also run his own retail business with a much smaller team. He has an MBA from Newcastle Business School, is a Certified Practitioner of NLP and is also an Ironman Triathlete.

Pete is massively passionate about professional people achieving their potential and spends his time in his business supporting Chief Executives and Managing Directors in a range of businesses from small Micro Businesses up to £130m Engineering Businesses.

He is experiencing brilliant business success by using the strategies he presents and coaches on himself. He manages his time between his family, his business and still competes in Ironman and long distance cycle events. Pete has won four separate speaking awards in the last two years alone and we are delighted to have him along to support our event.

Parking advice for guests:

We recommend using the following two car parks which are a very short walk to the venue and don’t require a parking disc. Other car parks are available but do require a parking disc, as shown here.
– Grey’s Yard: From Grey’s Yard, the venue is a short walk heading away from the Clock Tower and over the Oldgate bridge to the venue to the right.
– Matheson’s Gardens: From Matheson’s Gardens, turn right when exiting the car park and walk along the riverbank footpath. You will come to the Oldgate bridge where you’ll climb the steps and turn left over the bridge to the venue to the right.



Note: There is limited parking available behind the Riverside Lodge, but we expect this to fill up quickly given the number of attendees coming to the event.
